Founded in 2001 and privately owned, started the business from Silicon Valley and expanded footprint in Hong Kong and Mainland China in 2006, Primax Consult is now one of the leading executive search consulting organizations focused on North America and Asia regions.

Our Process
At Primax Consult, we recognize the importance of constant search process for each of our subsidiaries; we established and developed a standardized approach with consistency and flexibility to meet the unique requirements from each of our clients.

Search Strategy

Following extensive consultation with our clients regarding organization structure, company culture and specific requirements of the mandate, we determine a search strategy for finding the best candidate. Important to this process is a clear understanding of the client’s situation and needs, and guarantee an accurate search direction.

Once we’ve developed a Position Specification, we define our search strategy including target sectors, companies and positions which results in finding the best person for the job before kicking off the search project.

Candidate Identification and Assessment

The next step is to conduct preliminary research and developing an initial candidate long list. We contact, meet and assess potential candidates through telephone, video conference and personal interviews before finalizing a short list of 3-5 qualified, motivated and best-fit candidates. Our consultants prepare a confidential candidate assessment report, which is then presented to the client for review. When the client is ready to proceed, we assist with interviews.

Closure and Follow-up

In the final stage of our process, we consult with our clients to review top candidates and support the selection process. We frequently provide support in the negotiations between the client and candidate. Even after the position is filled, we conduct ongoing follow-up with both client and candidate to ensure success of the new executive.
